Toy Donations

The North Ridge Builders Club is collecting toys for the children living at Your Family Resource Center (The Women's Shelter) in Danville. This is an annual project for our club. If you'd like to help, please bring an unwrapped toy (for any age boy or girl) to Mrs. Delzell in room 711 by Friday, December 14th!! Thank you!!


Wreaths Across America

The Builders Club would like to thank everyone for supporting their Wreaths Across America project. So far, they have enough money to sponsor 203 wreaths! The Wreaths Across America ceremony will be on Saturday, December 15th. You are invited to come out to the Danville National Cemetery to see the wreaths. It is a beautiful sight to see!! 


Extra-Curricular Opportunities 

Chess Club Anyone interested in joining the Chess Club, Pickup chess club packets from Mr. Barth or Mr. Baker due date is 12/21/2018. Practice will start 1/8/2018 in Mr. Dyer's room 4:00 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.

Erin’s Law
Erin’s Law is named after childhood sexual assault survivor, author, speaker and activist Erin Merryn. Erin’s Law (in Illinois, Public Act 96-1524) mandates that Illinois public schools provide training to certified staff on prevention of child sexual abuse. It also mandates that public school children pre-kindergarten through 12th grade be educated on how to protect themselves from sexual abuse. Students learn age-appropriate techniques to recognize child sexual abuse and tell a trusted adult. School personnel learn about child sexual abuse. Any questions or concerns can be addressed by building administrators, guidance counselors or school social workers.
