Spring Pictures
On Tuesday, March 20, we will be taking spring pictures, spelling, scholastic bowl, chess, NJHS, track, 8th grade boys basketball and volleyball team pictures in the cafetorium on the stage. Spring pictures are optional. IF you are getting spring pictures taken, you may wear clothes that would’ve fit into our school’s dress code before the uniform standard of dress. Examples would be a shirt without a collar, jeans (with no rips, tears, holes, or frays), colored pants other than our dress code colors. If you do not adhere to the dress code you will not be allowed to have your picture taken and will be disciplined accordingly. Anybody getting spring pictures taken must have their order form and money turned into the office by the day before on Monday, March 19. No exceptions. A list of students who have pre-paid will be made and ONLY those students will be called down to get their pictures taken. Spring picture forms will be sent home with students. Team or individual picture forms can be picked up in the main office.

Erin’s Law
Erin’s Law is named after childhood sexual assault survivor, author, speaker and activist Erin Merryn. Erin’s Law (in Illinois, Public Act 96-1524) mandates that Illinois public schools provide training to certified staff on prevention of child sexual abuse. It also mandates that public school children pre-kindergarten through 12th grade be educated on how to protect themselves from sexual abuse. Students learn age-appropriate techniques to recognize child sexual abuse and tell a trusted adult. School personnel learn about child sexual abuse. Any questions or concerns can be addressed by building administrators, guidance counselors or school social workers.
