Registration Information





Dear District 118 Family,

District 118 has developed a new approach to our opening school registration. We realize parents have in the past traveled to multiple locations to register children of different ages.
For the upcoming 18-19 school year we are rolling-out the first District 118 Centralized Registration at the David S. Palmer Arena (Civic Center). It will be held:

Wednesday, June 6
th from 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM and

Thursday, June 7th from 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Friday, June 8th from 8:00 AM -12:00 PM

All K-12 students can be registered at the same time and at the same place!

On May 12th we will mail your child(ren)’s registration packet(s) to you. By receiving this packet in the mail, your proof of residency requirement is met. If you are unsure if your child’s school has your correct mailing address, please call them to confirm. You will find further details in the registration packet including payment of school fees, physicals and immunizations, parking, and shuttle services. If you have any questions when completing your packet, please call the school and they will be glad to assist you.

Arriving with your completed packet will allow you to move through registration quickly! At the Palmer Arena you will also find all information and services previously provided at your home school registration. This will include dress code information, school bus sign-up, nurses for physical/immunization questions and many others! We are excited to offer new services and opportunities to you while registering in June. Community Agencies offering programming will be on-site to assist you.
